The top panel contains data from fish sampled in Lake Diefenbaker (n = 19 females, n = 9 unsexed), and the bottom from Stockwell Lake (n = 30 females, n = 19 males, n = 1 unsexed). Unsexed individuals were either immature juveniles that had not begun gonad development or sex could not be determined due to damage, absence or inconclusive gonads
